I have had an unconventional career path, but have always come back to technology. I joined the US Navy after I graduated high school and became a Navy Data Systems Technician. I learned how to troubleshoot and maintain complex systems, such as the AN/UYA-4 Naval Tactical Display System. After the Navy, I worked in retail (Fry's Electronics), helped setup the original Navy Marine Corps Intranet while working for EDS, bartended, loaded packages at UPS, and worked for a webhosting company. Now I work for Microsoft as a Principal Solution Engineer focused on Azure Infrastructure.
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, playing video games, coaching soccer, and spending time with my family. I live near the beach, so I'm learning to surf and I also love to travel and explore new places.
Here you can expect to find posts about Azure, technology, occasional recipes, and things that I'm into. Hopefully, I turn posting into a habit, so we'll see how it goes!
